Speaker: Christine Stolpe, CPP, CEO/Owner of Wages Creek. Passionate about developing a better understanding of the payroll profession, Christine Stolpe, CPP, began her journey thirty years ago, and has worked in payroll as part of the Human Resources and/or Finance Teams for some of the biggest employers in the Silicon Valley.  Choosing a career that is portable between industries suited Christine as she found herself relocating from time to time.  Christine is the founder and owner of Wages Creek, a payroll consulting business, assisting clients with a myriad of payroll projects. A member of the Payroll Organization since 2011, Christine has enjoyed watching the profession blossom through educational opportunities, emotional intelligence seminars and personal fortitude.  She serves on the Social Networking Committee, the GRTF-SALT Sub-Committee and the Certification Item Development Task Force.  She has previously served on the Board of Directors for the California Payroll Conference and Silicon Valley Chapter as well as serving a two-year term on the Board of Advisors to the National APA Board of Directors.  Christine is most proud of sitting for the CPP Exam and passing in Spring 2011, as well as becoming one of the first fifty individuals to earn the APA’s Global Payroll Management Certification at Fall Forum in October 2011.

Through furthering her own education and skill sets by attending many APA offerings, Christine has developed a ravenous appetite for helping others.  She develops training for other payroll professionals, volunteers for National Money Matters Day during National Payroll Week and looks forward to growing and connecting with her expanding network of colleagues and friends.

Regularly Scheduled Meetings –Chapter meetings are an ideal place to network and they provide educational opportunities for chapter members to learn more about critical payroll and compliance issues while earning Recertification Credit Hours (RCHs).
